Objectives

  • To form an Alumni of all Students who have passed out from and Teachers who formerly served in Kendriya Vidyalaya, IISc
  • To bring together and facilitate building of fraternity and solidarity, co-operation, mutual harmony, love and affection amongst the members of Association and promote a sense of pride.
  • To create database of all the alumni and teachers including information on alumni who are successful and achieved great accolades in their respective fields and keep it updated.
  • To involve alumni in providing guidance regarding various career avenues to the students and to share their experiences to enrich and empower students.
  • To collect funds through donations or remuneration, fees through various programs such as workshops, business activities,  extracurricular activities etc and such funds to be added into the corpus of Association for various KV- IISc school and alumni related activities including:
    • To conduct various programs for the Alumni, like get-togethers, sports, cultural programs, with an objective to bring together all the former and present students of Kendriya Vidyalaya IISc and promote fellowship amongst them and their families.
    • To undertake different activities in or outside Kendriya Vidyalaya IISc School premises, for the benefit of current School students and alumni Members like career counseling, Health Awareness, and other similar programs.
    • To support needy/ deserving current students and alumni of the school financially or otherwise such as award/ prizes, scholarship and stipend in academics, including science, engineering, medicine, law, commerce, economics, arts, fine arts and other areas of academic,  professional or artistic pursuits, sports and other co-curricular activities
    • To conduct academic meets such as Conferences, Workshops, Seminars for the current Students, and Alumni of Kendriya Vidyalaya IISc on various subjects.
    • To conduct academic meets such as Conferences, Workshops, Seminars for the Teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya IISc and KVS on various subjects
    • To arrange programs with help of authorities; Student development programs from International countries like Student exchange program, exchange of scholarship for students from abroad, etc.
    • To facilitate and encourage Alumni to contribute towards improvement of infrastructure like labs, class rooms etc that the Alumni and the Kendriya Vidyalaya IISc feel appropriate.
    • To facilitate academic and research organizations interactions, industry interactions, collaborations, internships, placements, skill development programs or other similar activities for the students and alumni of KV-IISc.
    • To collect, publish and distribute information related to KV activities or other relevant activities as may be useful to members of the Association.
    • To provide legal and medical aid, social economic help and assistance to the needy alumni members, teachers and students if possible.
    • To create a website of the Association so that all Alumni related information can be made available for the benefit of all the members of the Association and to keep it updated on a regular basis.
    • To take up works found suitable for the welfare of public in general and to do such other things, either alone or in conjunction with others as are incidental, ancillary, supplemental or conductive for the benefit of citizens of this country, like helping the government in wake of natural calamities like earthquake, floods, literacy drives, health related activities , women empowerment programs etc. and to establish permanent corpus fund for giving donations for the treatment of needy patients suffering from terminal diseases & serious ailments of heart, kidney, etc.
    • To accept donation, whether in cash or in kind, with specific direction from the donor on the manner in which the said funds or income there from is to be utilised for  purposes as specified herein.
    • It is expressly declared that the objects set forth hereinabove shall have the widest possible construction, shall be independent of each and its furtherance shall be carried out without any distinction or discrimination on the basis of caste, religion, race or colour.
